All members of the clergy who are canonically resident or serving in the Diocese of West Missouri are called to come together and to “come aside” from Monday, April 8 through Tuesday, April 9 at Savior Pastoral Center in Kansas City, KS for the annual Lenten gathering of the diocesan Clericus. The theme for the two-day retreat is “Will There Be Faith?”, and during our time together we will:

• Examine the clergy’s role in building and deepening the faith of individuals and communities,
• Engage with 1.) TEC’s Way of Love initiative, 2.) the best practices gleaned from the activities of Renewal Works, and 3.) the resources provided by our diocese’s Christian Formation Commission,
• Share information about clergy transitions, pastoral concerns, and upcoming activities in the diocese, and
• Celebrate Holy Eucharist with the renewal of ordination vows and the blessing of holy oils.

Our time together begins with lunch on Monday (arrival any time after 11 a.m.) and concludes Tuesday in the mid-afternoon.
