Mastermind Demo + Cocktail Party 10.27.10
Why: This party began as an opportunity to demo the mastermind process for + with those who are interested for themselves + also for those who are interested in what I am up to—while providing a lot of value to my guests. It has ended up being a unique way for people to gain new "a-has" while also making new strategic connections!
Timeline:
6 to 6:30 PM—Meet + Greet
6:30 PM (promptly)—Mastermind Demo begins with 6-10 people
Apx. 7-7:15 PM—Group discussion based on earlier demo begins
Apx. 7:45-8 PM—Group discussion concludes + mingling resumes!
Attire: Business or Cocktail Casual
Parking: There is street parking on both sides of the street in front of the Glassworks Building + it is FREE beginning at 6PM! If these spots are taken, the 1st lot past the building at the near corner of Market + 8th is a flat $5. The lot at the far corner of Market + 8th is also a flat $5. Both lots are on your left as you are driving down Market. I can't imagine a scenario where both of these lots are full, but if the impossible happens, there is a parking garage attached to the Bat Museum on 8th St between Market + Main. You will pay $5.75 max.
What Is a Mastermind Group?
The term was first coined by Napoleon Hill in his book “Think and Grow Rich” (published in 1937). Hill thought of a Mastermind as a moment in time “when a group of individual brains are coordinated and function in harmony, the increased energy created through that alliance becomes available to every individual brain in that group.” Hill credits Andrew Carnegie with the “alliance” concept. In full, Hill amassed 20+ years of research and studied 500+ successful people. The result: Hill determined that having a Mastermind group was critical to achieving success!

What is Covered in a Mastermind Group?
People use Mastermind Groups for all different purposes, such as: sharing “best practices” (for business, parenting, etc.); attaining personal goals (gaining fitness, continuing education, etc.); maintaining + creating relationships; finance management; and oh so many more!
