Virtual Adult Mental Health First Aid - August 25 & 26, 2022- 9:00AM-12:00PM 

Just as CPR helps a person with no clinical training assist an individual following a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid training helps a person assist someone experiencing a mental health crisis such as contemplating suicide.  In both situations, the goal is to help support an individual until appropriate professional help arrives.

Adult Mental Health First Aid covers:

• Common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges.
• Common signs and symptoms of substance use challenges.
• How to interact with a person in crisis.
• How to connect a person with help.
• Expanded content on trauma, substance use and self-care.

Participants are required to complete 2-hours of self-paced, online pre-work before attending the one-day Instructor Led Zoom sessions.
