Kristal Walsh is a Biological Scientist with Florida Fish and Wildlife in the Office of Conservation Planning Services. Kristal has 15 years’ experience in the environmental field and holds a M.S. in Environmental Science from the University of West Florida. Her expertise includes natural resources’ management with an extensive background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis. Kristal also serves as an Advisory Board member for UWF’s Master’s Degree Program in GIS Administration. In her current role, she provides conservation planning and technical assistance to agencies and private landowners to reduce adverse effects to sensitive species and habitats.
