1:30pm-2:00pm: Arrive at the Downtown Fredericksburg VRE (behind the train station) for the opening ceremony and to begin the Walk.
2:00pm: Opening ceremony with Susan Spears, President & CEO, Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce
2:15pm: Begin 1 mile Walk to the Inn at the Olde Silk Mill
2:30pm-2:45pm: Arrive at the Inn at the Olde Silk Mill
2:45pm-5:00pm: Kick off your heels for the after party! Live Music Performance by Shannon Peterson, Guest Speakers, 50/50 Raffle, Food & Drinks!

Lisa Fanucci-Dario is hosting A Walk a Mile in Her Shoes in downtown Fredericksburg on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 2pm.
The walk brings awareness to the seriousness of domestic violence and raises money for Empowerhouse. Walkers and spectators will meet at the commuter lot in downtown Fredericksburg for an opening ceremony.
Immediately following the opening ceremony, walkers will Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, literally! Men will slip into a pair of red high heels to show their support for the cause!
Walkers and spectators will walk to the Inn at the Olde Silk Mill where there will be live music, guest speakers, a 50/50 raffle, and food & drinks!
Register as an individual or as a team.
Individual Walk tickets are $45 each/$40 each for teams of 10 or more. Challenge your office to have the highest number of walkers out there.
T-shirts will be provided for all walkers that registered prior to September 15 - otherwise we encourage you to wear red to the event! Walkers will need to provide their own heels or red shoes of your choice.
Don't let the high heels stop you from being part of this wonderful event! If the shoes will stop you from walking -- wear your sneakers (hopefully they are red!).
