Project Management for the Practitioner (7 PDU's) - September 2020 

This highly-interactive workshop will enable participants to understand foundational project management techniques and will allow the attendees to apply the tools and templates that will be introduced in this learning event.  Case studies, exercises and discussions will be industry-based, therefore professionals who work in the public sectors such as municipalities and townships, and the private sector such as engineering, and other organziations which support infrastructure, technology and natural resources, will be able to immediately use the content that wil lbe introduced in this workshop.  Lunch will be included.

Instructor - Andrea Chisholm, B.A.SC., PMP

Andrea is a Project Management Professional, consultant and trainer with over 25 years’ experience working in project driven environments.  She has extensive experience in project management processes gained from both the IT and engineering industries and provides her expertise as a consultant to companies in Project Management, Business Analysis, Business Development, Technical Support and Staff Training and Development.  Andrea has a BA.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and her certifications include Project Management (PMP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Comp TIA A+ and Network.  Her specialty training areas include a wide range of project management and technical areas comprising Project Management, PMP Preparation and Certification, MS Project, MS Office, leadership and business skills.

Cancellation Policy

Kawartha Conservation reserves the right to postpone a learning event no later than seven days before the course start date. If the course is cancelled, a full refund will be issued. Kawartha Conservation is not responsible for travel arrangements and accommodation costs that have been incurred without a confirmation that the course is taking place.

Anyone wishing to withdraw from an event must provide notification in writing to the above-mentioned email address. Refunds will be calculated as follows:

  • More than 10 business days prior to the course start date: a full refund minus a $50 administration fee
  • Between 1-9 days prior to the course start date: a 50% refund minus a $50 administration fee
  • Within 24 hours of the start date of the course: no refund will be provided

“No Shows” are not subject to refunds.
