The Dance of Letting Go

As the season turns, we let go. We honor all that must end. We release into longer nights. We open into loss. We surrender into the empty spaces.
Join Melissa Michaels and the Grief Support Network, Saturday, November 19th, from 1pm-4pm at Block 1750 in Boulder, CO for this sacred and seasonal moving practice of letting go.

Together we will explore how moving our heart liberates our body and how moving our body liberates our heart.

No dance experience is necessary. Come with your longing for grounded exploration and creative expression of your tender truths.
Fear. Anger. Grief. Joy. Compassion. You are all welcome.

All proceeds support the non-profit work of the Grief Support Network.

About Melissa:

Melissa Michaels, Ed.D., creates movement-based cross-cultural events focusing on the power of the arts to heal, transform, and mobilize individuals and communities. As the founder and director of the not-for-profit organization, Golden Bridge, Melissa developed the first contemporary leadership program rooted in dance, empowering hundreds of  social entrepreneurs and peace builders around the world. Grief is no stranger to these leaders. Decades of tending to the broken and brilliant hearts of diverse peoples through art based ritual has been an integral part of Melissa's work of inner and outer liberation. Loss serves as the doorway to ever expanding states of love. From her own tender heart, to schools in our inner cities, to refugee settlements, to the United Nations, Melissa serves as the midwife, serving the emergence of people's somatic, social, and soulful intelligence.
