To feel a Stone lighter by Xmas!

  Here is the Deal........

  1. You will be competing as part of a team of 2-3 teams directly against one another. 
  2. Zest will place you in your Team.
  3. You will be emailed instructions from the Zest Team each Wednesday to help you prepare.
  4. The club teams will all go out to Dinner in the New Year to 3Q's Restaurant, tin the New Year,  where the final results will be announced.
  5. The losing Team(s) will have to buy the winning teams dinner! It's only fair.
  6. Beware there will be a twist!!

  8. Details to get started straight away.
  • 1 stone = 14 lb = 6.35kg
  • Monday 18th October  Sat 18th December (9 weeks) that’s 700grm/week (about 1.5lb/week)
  • Metabolic typing assessment must be completed and handed in.
  • Body stat assessment must be completed in the week prior to start date.
  • Sans alcohol for the duration of the competition (if you are serious about losing a stone then this should pose no problem, if you cannot commit to this then you need to reassess your relationship with alcohol!)
  • Drink your weight in Kg’s x 0.033 in ml of water/day. (100kg =3.3l/day, 75kg = 2.4l/day, 50kg =1.65l/day)
  • Get to bed by 10.30pm as much as possible
  • Eat organic where ever possible

YOUR SCHEDULE:

Week one:

Low Carb week- Start the whole process by simply cutting starchy carbohydrate and processed snacks containing sugars (pasta, rice, bread, potatoes, cakes ,biscuits, doughnuts) out of your diet and replace them with vegetables and fruit. Eat only natural minimally processed foods. Eat only foods from your diet sheet. Continue this for the 9 weeks.

Week two:

Detox week - simply follow our detox plan and this will kick start your weight loss by cleaning out your body and helping it metabolise fats for fuel.

Week three:

Fine Tuning week – optimise your balance of nutrients, energy levels, clarity of thought and weight normalisation buy using specially designed fine tuning sheets. Continue to use fine tuning sheets for the duration of the competition. Wednesday ‘one day juice fast’

Week four:

 Increase your exercise week – book in another exercise session from now till xmass, either join spinning, boot-camp or do another PT session. Continue through to the end of the competition. Wednesday ‘one day juice fast’

Week five:

reassessment week – we retest you and see your progress so far, you will either get a pat on the back or a kick in the butt! Wednesday ‘one day juice fast’

Week six:

What the Fat! Week. Make sure you are getting some form of good fats at every meal, add/cook with coconut oil, drizzle olive oil on after cooking or on salads. Eat the fat from organic animals like lamb, fish, beef, chicken and eggs. Continue to follow your diet sheet and fine tune your meals. Make sure you are getting at least 3 exercise sessions each week. Wednesday ‘one day juice fast’

Week seven:

Keep all your good work going and Continue to follow your diet sheet and fine tune your meals. Make sure you are getting at least 3 exercise sessions each week. Wednesday ‘one day juice fast’

Week eight:

Only two weeks left keep it up and continue to follow your diet sheet and fine tune your meals. Make sure you are getting at least 3 exercise sessions each week. Wednesday ‘one day juice fast’

Week nine:

Final week – the home stretch don’t let it slip now the end is in sight, reassessment is on Saturday! You will be given your personal results. Team and individual winners will be announced at a special dinner in the New Year. Beware there will be a twist!!

Although what we have planned is designed to help motivate you to concentrate on weight loss specifically, the real ‘win’ for you is changing your habits to healthy one so that you can live a longer, happier more fruitful life. Living healthily, most of the time, allows you the energy and resources to take on any challenge life throws at you. Being around and being able to keep up with the kids and grandkids is a great reward, as is taking on a challenge you never thought possible. This program is an opportunity to get a real Zest for life! Go on take it!
