It is rare when a memoir perfectly reflects the author and the times in which she lives.  Linda Gray’s book accomplishes that and more.  Much more.  In a special trip to Dallas, Linda will share her charming, inspiring stories firsthand from The Road to Happiness Is Always Under Construction.

“Authors at The Adolphus” is delighted to honor her with a beautiful luncheon in The French Room worthy of her graciousness and generosity toward others.  On Friday, April 22, TV host Jocelyn White will conduct an engaging conversation with Linda about The Road to Happiness is Always Under Construction and her award-winning portrayals that have earned her international fame and critical acclaim, year after year.  There will be opportunity to visit with her as she personally inscribes books purchased at the luncheon.

The event will begin with a reception and book signing, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 noon.  Linda and Jocelyn will take the stage at noon.  For 45 minutes these two longtime friends will delight and entertain you, as they take you down the "Road to Happiness" – and, later, answer your questions.  A gourmet luncheon – created by Executive Chef Marcus Strietzel – follows, from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.

Tickets for this “Road to Happiness” luncheon will sell out quickly.  Seating in The French Room is extremely limited, as you may know.  We encourage everyone to purchase a seat early to avoid any disappointment.  Please note that, owing to the limited seating and demand for tickets, there will be no refunds.  Books are available for sale when you reserve your seat or at the door.

Reserve Now! The fee for this event is $80.00 per person inclusive of tax, gratuity and parking.

Please note that the event fee will display on your statement as "WPY*Adolphus Hotel Events".
