This module is a continuation of the DIY Organic SEO optimization module. The
content in this module will build upon module 1 material. It is strongly
recommended that you take module 1 before signing up for module 2. Register for Module 1 HERE.

In module 1 attendees learned three types of SEO optimization -- Onpage SEO,
Offpage SEO and Technical SEO. We covered the elements in each type of organic
SEO.

Now that we have learned the “What” in module 1, we will now learn the “How” of
optimization. Some of the topics we will explore hands-on are:

- Organize directories and subdirectories
- More on keywords
Technical SEO
- Detailed discussion on Sitemap.xml and Robot.txt file
- Generate Sitemap.xml and Robot.txt file
Offpage SEO
- Backlinks
- Content writing
- Social Media: Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn

Once you have taken this workshop, you will realize how search engines take a
logical and common sense approach when displaying sites in the search results.
Attendees will learn the methodolody of planning and organizing content so as to
provide visitors with an enhanced user experience. This approach of enhanced user
experience can allow sites to gain authority, brand recognition, and a mass presence in the digital space.

This module is designed to give small business owners tools and techniques to
optimize their website on their own or with minimal spending with long lasting
results. The techniques you will learn can be implemented on an ongoing basis. The focus is more towards organic SEO optimization. There is no technical or coding background needed. You will be surprised how simple organic SEO can be!

Nadiya has dual MBA from Georgia State University (Commercial Diplomacy and Executive Business Leadership) and Sorbonne Graduate Business school (Business Organization and Management) from Paris, France. She has a Bachelors degree in computer science from York University in Toronto, Canada. Nadiya has worked for Cap Gemini America and IBM as an IT Consultant/Trainer. 

After 10 years of working with Corporate America, Nadiya has managed to run two very successful businesses: an IT consulting company and a web design firm. Currently Nadiya successfully runs a consulting, mediation and training practice www.onpointatl.com  

Nadiya operates with high standards of ethics and has served as a Chair/Workshop Chair/Treasurer for SBA/SCORE Atlanta. She has volunteered for the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, Hands on Atlanta, and the Junior Achievement Program.
