Join us this January for 2 days of reflection, meditation, community and film watching. This year we are happy to combine our Alumni/ae Retreat with the Whitehead International Film Festival.

Thursday, January 17

Friday, January 18

9:30 am           Registration at CST

10:00 am         Plenary Session:
Discussion of Sabbath: Finding Rest, Renewal, and Delight in Our Busy Lives by Wayne Muller- This should be read before the retreat.

Noon              Lunch with President Jerry Campbell and Dean Philip Clayton

1:30 pm           Guided Journaling with Judith Favor

3:30 pm           Break

4:00 pm           Labyrinth – A time for reflection and meditation

5:30 pm           Opening Reception – Whitehead International Film Festival

7:30 pm           Opening Film - Dearest (Anatae)

9:30 pm           Night Cap - Group discussion at Double Tree Hotel

Saturday, January 19

10:00 am         Session with Alane Rogers

11:30 am         Brunch at CST

1:00 pm           Service in Kresge Chapel

2:00 pm           Afternoon Film

4:00 pm           End of Retreat

 

$65 covers the registration, lunch on Friday, brunch on Saturday, snacks and the Opening Champagne Reception for the Film Festival.

All films are $5 and tickets will be available to purchase in Mudd Theater.

Accommodations at the Double Tree Hotel, 555 W. Foothill Blvd, are available for the CST rate of $114 per night for a double occupancy. Contact the Double Tree Hotel directly and make sure to let them know you are with CST to get the discounted rate, 909.626.2411.
