Ship Legacy Reception at Parents & Family Day

Legacy Program: The Shippensburg University Legacy Program was designed to recognize the commitment of its alumni to their alma mater who support and encourage their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and siblings to consider Shippensburg University for their higher education.

Legacy Reception: Is your son or daughter, parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle, brother or sister a Ship alum?  If yes, please join University President Laurie Carter, the Alumni Relations Office and members of the  Alumni Association Board of Directors for a special “Legacy Reception” for you and your family.

Legacy families are invited to a special reception hosted by the SU Alumni Association during Parents and Family Day on September 23 in the Ceddia Union Building (CUB) , Airport Lounge (lounge located on the 1st floor, across from Reisner Dining Hall). Light refreshments will be served with a keepsake momento for legacies who did not receive one at the legacy reception last year.

Highlighted activities on Saturday include Family Fun Photos at the Big Red Chair from 9:00AM - 2:00PM, a Family Fun Zone from 10:30AM - 2:30PM with family competitions (potato sack races, simon says, water-balloon toss, and three-legged races) held in the academic quad, an interactive trivia game show from 1:00 - 3:00PM, and a paint nite at 3:00PM in the CUB. A schedule for the entire day is available on-line.
