Please be prepared for your ride:
Experienced cyclists describe our terrain as flat to rolling but please note that our covered bridges are in valleys and that ALL RIDES finish with a climb of just over a mile. Please put in some miles before attending our event. ALL RIDES require a significant amount of road riding and for this reason we urge parents not to bring children who are too young to ride on their own. Children under eighteen must be accompanied on the road by a parent or adult.
No mechanics will be on hand. Please be prepared to deal with simple mechanical problems and flat tires. Bring a patch kit or spare tube and a pump on your ride.
On call vehicle support will be available all day for mechanical problems, injuries and rider fatigue.
The 2016 event was held on Saturday, August 13. 520 cyclists participated. Thanks to everyone who joined us to ride or volunteer. See you next August.
