This 3-hour workshop uses a classroom setting with an experienced presenter to cover the basics of using QuickBooks and many of its’ key features. The instructor uses QuickBooks Online (QBO)* as well as PowerPoint slides and handouts. Both the Desktop and Online presentations will be sent by email, in pdf format, to all who have registered a few days before the event.

The course demonstrates what happens to the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet when entries are made in QuickBooks.  The emphasis is to understand what is happening when a check or a bill is entered to the financial statements, not the key-by-key mechanical entries.

This is not a hands-on PC training session.  Because this is a survey course the following topics will not be discussed in any detail: Inventory, Job Costing, Sales Tax and Payroll.
