Agile/Lean and uxWaterloo P2P are pleased to team up to explore how UX works in an agile environment in a facilitated discussion forum lead by Mark Connolly (Karos Health) and Robert Barlow-Busch (ArtBarn Partners), champions of uxWaterloo P2P group. Together with Agile participants, we'll share our collective experiences and insights in wide-ranging discussion. Amongst the questions we hope to address:

• Are there alternatives to UX designers working an iteration ahead of developers?

• How can Agile cross-functional teams think more about user experience using tools like personas?

• How can designers, developers and technical writers/content designers, work as an integrated team?

Please bring your answers, questions and insights to the discussion. We welcome the sharing of all experiences!

After the session, please feel free to hang out and network with P2P participants.

Meetings are on the 4th Tuesday of every month
Multi-functional teams will learn proven organizational transition approaches and best practices around Agile project and product management, Agile architecture and quality management. Development, management, and product teams will gain practical insights, tools, practices they can take away to help adopt or adapt agile/lean practices. The format of these sessions ranges from guest speaker, to soapbox, to roundtable, to workshop.

Meetings will alternate month to month from 3rd Tuesday and 3rd Thursday - however if you are on the distribution list you will receive notification
Practicing designers, Product Managers, and Marketing professionals share design theories and thinking to improve and promote the user experience of products and services to delight the customer who will ultimately use them.  Guest speakers lead off the session followed by Q and A, or roundtable discussion.
