Wondering in the Wilderness:

A Call to Connect with the Spirit in Each Other

Facilitated by Julie Demaree

What you wonder about can lead to great angst, insight, wrestling, wisdom, and joy. It can also be a wonder-full way to connect and share with the Spirit in yourself and others. The season of Lent is approaching, and has traditionally represented Jesus’s time in the wilderness, a desert place of extremes to which he was led by the Spirit.

This Lenten season, Lumunos invites you to a small group experience of “wondering in the wilderness.” This will be a time set-apart, to center and connect deeply with the Spirit who fills and leads each of us; where what we ponder, gaze upon, and consider as sacred, is the content for what we will share during our time together.  In this event, facilitated by Julie Demaree, we will explore and experience several kinds of wonder, including curiosity (things that make us go “hmmm”) and awe (things that make us go “wow”).

This session is donation based, with a suggested donation of $20.

If you'd like to continue exploring wonder, Julie will offer a six-week small group series, which you can sign up for here
