Feeling a bit lost and lonely in the face of lots of bad news? Wouldn’t it be nice to gather with others and talk about realistic ways to help? Being part of a community striving to change things means being immersed in “active” hope. Jim Wallis, the founder of Sojourners, once noted that: “Jesus didn't say, ‘Blessed are the peace-lovers.’ He said ‘peacemakers.’”
In our June “PT for the Soul” event, we’ll look at why active hope and being part of a community pushing for change can regenerate our spiritual well-being in a world filled with worry. You'll also leave with a few ideas about how to find a change community, if you're not already part of one.
