Public Testimony Advance Sign-in

This site is for advance sign-in of speakers to provide testimony at the Governor's Redistricting Advisory Committee public hearing at Prince George's Community College in Largo, MD on Monday, July 25, 2011.  If you intent to speak before the panel at this hearing, you must sign in on this website by clicking "Advance Sign-in" below, by email to (Redistricting2011@mdp.state.md.us) or by signing in 50 minutes prior to the start of the hearing.

Advance sign-in is by e-mail or through this website only and must be received by 12:00 noon the day prior to the public hearing. Any e-mails requesting advanced sign-in received after 12:00 noon the day prior to the public hearing will not be included on the speaking roster.  On the day of the public hearing, sign-in sheets will be available at the public hearing location that must be used for speakers who have not signed up in advance electronically. E-mail your information to Redistricting2011@mdp.state.md.us

Written Comments Testifiers are asked to provide electronic written comments to the Committee by 12:00 noon the day prior to the hearing. The comments should be sent by e-mail as a PDF attachment to Redistricting2011@mdp.state.md.us If the person testifying does not submit an electronic copy in advance, a hard copy will also be accepted at the hearing when the person testifies.

Third Party Plans Guidelines for submitting third party plans are found on the Maryland Department of Planning website at http://planning.maryland.gov/redistricting/2010/3rdpartyplans.shtml. They are also available upon request by e-mailing Redistricting2011@mdp.state.md.us or by calling Linda Janey at 410-767-4490.

Restrictions Comments/testimony are limited to State Congressional and Legislative redistricting. The Committee will not hear comments on local government redistricting - council, commissioner, municipal, school, etc.
