Nonprofit Workshop: Planned Giving with Steve Slotemaker 

In this informative workshop for development professionals in the Mid-Willamette Valley, Steve Slotemaker will cover planned giving in two sessions.

  • What are planned gifts? A primer on charitable remainder trusts, gift annuities, and bequests.
  • Discovering planned gift donors: Tools and tips to engaging in meaningful conversations with donors.

About the Presenter

Mr. Slotemaker joined TIAA Kaspick, which provides comprehensive planned gift and endowment management services to help nonprofits advance their missions, in 2013. Before that, he worked for the Oregon State University Foundation, where he was Senior Director of Gift Planning. His responsibilities included leading the collaborative development efforts of the gift planning program, oversight of bequest administration, and gift planning marketing.

Prior to his seven years with the OSU Foundation, he was an analyst with TIAA Kaspick.  Mr. Slotemaker has a BA in Business Administration and an MBA from Washington State University.  He is a member of the Northwest Planned Giving Roundtable.
