Day of Design 

Drapery Design will be hosting a unique design event on November 9th from 10am to 3pm in our beautiful Paoli showroom! 

Every hour, a 30 minute seminar will be presented followed by a question and answer session with Drapery Design's custom window fashions specialist Karen Lander and interior designer Nancy Hansen. There will be refreshments and inspiration!

10:00 AM – The Simplified Custom Program – Are you new to custom window treatments? This talk will help you understand the differences between custom and ready made window treatments. You will be pleasantly surprised at the great value of simplified quality made window coverings.

11:00 AM – Room Redesign – Your room needs updating! Where to start? This talk will guide you through the steps to recreate your room using your own pieces while supplementing with some new!

12:00 PM – Window Fashion Trends- Just as in clothing fashions, window fashion trends change, although at a much slower pace. Come see and touch and hear about some of the newest trends in decorating and how window fashions interpret these changes.

1:00 PM – Trends in Bathroom Design – Thinking about a bathroom remodel? That is our featured designer Nancy Hansen’s specialty. Learn about the new trends in bathroom design and of course the most appropriate window coverings in the bath! Also included are holiday updates for your guest powder room.

2:00 PM – Meet the Pleat – Did you know there are dozens of ways to pleat a drapery panel at the top? There are specific uses and benefits of each type of pleat. Come see an amazing array of actual samples of draperies featuring many different headings from simple to couture elegance. 

3:00 PM – Raffle Drawing – All attendees will have the chance to win an exciting giveaway from each design specialist. Nancy Hansen Interiors will be giving away a one and a half hour home consultation to discuss your project. Drapery Design will be offering a $500 gift certificate towards your next project. Winners will be announced at 3pm. They need not be present to win.
