Family Fun: Thrifting Halloween Costumes 

Bring the family and join us Saturday, Oct. 3, for some Halloween fun.  We will share tips, tricks and ideas to create your own unique thrifted costumes.  Refreshments and activities for the kids such as coloring, craft project and face painting!

Abby  is an ad executive in downtown Akron. She spends her free time with her husband and dogs. In her free time, you can find her listening to music, reading, watching anything with Mary-Kate and Ashley or

Monica's Bio
Monica was born and raised in Cuyahoga County and graduated with a BA in Radio/TV Production from Kent State University. After graduation, Monica moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Television Production.

Shortly after moving to LA, she started to work as a wardrobe stylist for commercial productions. Some of the commercials included Chrysler, McDonalds, Kay Jewelers & Callaway Golf. She’s worked with various
celebrities such as, Celine Dion, Lea Thompson, Clyde Drexler and Alice Cooper.

After several years in the production industry, Monica followed another lifelong passion and transitioned into the world of skincare, having a successful career working as an esthetician for the Murad Medical Spa.  

Monica lived in LA for 13 years before moving back to her native Ohio in 2010 with her husband & daughter. She’s currently working with the Akron Goodwill as a styling consultant and fashion blogger
focusing on thrifting outfits for kids. When she’s not working, Monica enjoys practicing yoga, cooking, baking, skincare and most importantly, spending quality time with her husband & daughter.
