Cybersecurity in 2020 and Beyond: We’re going to need a bigger boat….
Feeling Better About Cybersecurity? That’s a lot like feeling better about great white sharks because you haven’t met one personally (while swimming)! This panel will: 1) disabuse you of the notion that cybersecurity best practices will keep your company safe; 2) convince you that the light at the end of the tunnel is, in fact, an oncoming train; and 3) share some tips “beyond best practices” that don’t break the bank but do create a path forward for managing the persistent threat of cybersecurity in a way that is neither optimistically naive nor depressingly fatalistic.
Speakers include Dean Heller (a policy expert on matters of housing, transportation, commerce, and tax policy; and a former United States Senator from the State of Nevada), Mike Rogers (a retired FBI special agent and U.S. Army officer, with expertise in national security issues, intelligence affairs, and cybersecurity policy; and a former member of Congress for Michigan’s Eighth Congressional District), Bethany Mayer (Director at Sempra Energy, Marvell Semiconductor, and Lam Research; and Executive Chair at Pulse Secure) with Dan Siciliano serving as moderator (a successful technology CEO-founder and entrepreneur as well as an independent director on the board of the Federal Home Loan Bank).
