Ed Batts

Ed has extensive experience in M&A, Corporate Governance, and Crisis Management, and Orrick ranks as a top global law firm for M&A deals in the Technology, Energy & Infrastructure and Finance sectors.  Ed is consistently named as a top speaker for a range of legal, investor, and director programs and has prior service as a military officer and federal special agent. 

Lydia Beebe

Lydia Beebe is a corporate governance expert, currently serving on three corporate boards of directors: EQT Corporation, The Kansas City Southern Railway Company, and Aemetis. She provides advice on governance matters through LIBB Advisors, LLC, the firm she founded. Lydia was previously Corporate Secretary and Chief Governance Officer at Chevron Corporation for 20 years and was also Co-Director of the Stanford Institutional Investors Forum and Chairman of the Board of NACD.

Hersh Shefrin

Hersh Shefrin holds the Mario Belotti Chair in the Department of Finance at Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business. Professor Shefrin is a pioneer in  behavioral finance and has published widely in area, writing for both academics and practitioners. He often speaks on the subject to portfolio managers, security analysts, and financial planners both in the U.S. and abroad. 


Ann Skeet

Ann Skeet is the Senior Director, Leadership Ethics, Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University. Ann researches, writes and speaks about the ethical dilemmas of leaders, corporate culture and the ethical challenges of governance. She works with board directors, CEOs, and C-suite executives to shape and reinforce organizational cultures that encourage ethical outcomes. Anne was previously CEO of American Leadership Forum Silicon Valley and Vice President of Marketing at Knight Ridder.
