Cancellation Policy

For all course registrations, the following cancellation policy applies. 

• Cancellation/change outside of 45 days of camp start date = full refund less $15 admin fee.
• Cancellation/change within 45 to 15 days of start date = 50% tuition credit of remaining registration fee towards a course offered by FrogPrints e! within the same calendar year.
• No refund or credit available after within 14 days of start date of class.

SUMMER SAIL & UNDERWATER ROBOTICS

DAY CAMP

Our two week  Summer #STEM #Sail & #Underwater-Robotics Day Camp is now closed. We accepting waitlist applications for the full two week program (see below). 

The robotics session of the camp is still accepting registrations.

 WHAT is a STEM Sail/Robot Camp?

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.  Sessions will include: Learning to sail El Toro wooden sailboats on Lake Union, Underwater robot building, learning about Steam boats/ engines, exploring Virginia V, bathymetric charting and underwater Robot exploration with videos!

Underwater Robot Section Still Open!

 This portion of the program is limited to girls only.  For one week girls will create/build robots as well as test them before exploring lake union with them,  learn about steam engines, & explore steam boats, determine what physics principals are the same between sail boats, steam boats, and underwater robots, explore bathymetric charting, and have fun!  


  How much?

Suggested Payment for Sailing and Robotics two week day camp: $870.

Suggested Payment for the Robotics session: $450.

  • Waiver: A signed liability and photo permission waiver must be completed by first day of class.  You can download the waiver form here.

Who can attend? 

Middle school girls, rising into 5th through 8th grade.

Camp Hours are 9 AM - 4 PM
(8:30-9:00 is drop off and 4:00-5:00 PM are supervised pick-up times).

In partnership with CWB we offer a ‘Pay What You Can’ scholarship; submission forms are available at: http://cwb.org/classes/scholarships/ 

If you would like to apply for financial aid, please check the financial aid box on the registration form and select "pay by check."  This will hold your spot while you are applying for a scholarahip.
