Our speaker:
Jaqueline C. Ramirez is the Associate Fair Housing Director at Project Sentinel. She first joined the organization in 2014 as a Fair Housing Coordinator and has since helped hundreds of tenants advocate for their rights and served as our former San Mateo County Program Manager. She holds a B.A. from San Francisco State University and a J.D. from Santa Clara University. Before entering law school in 2011, Jaqueline spent five years with the Service Employees International Union, where she organized workers, managed campaigns, and represented members in contract negotiations and throughout the grievance process. In law school, Jaqueline served as a workers’ rights law clerk at the Katharine & George Alexander Community Law Center and spent four months in El Salvador assisting a non-governmental organization dedicated to fair labor practices.
