Keys to Embracing Aging Program

Join the Frontier Extension District, Marais des Cygnes Extension District, and Coffey County Extension in 2021 by participating in the Keys to Embracing Aging program.

Keys to Embracing Aging introduces 12 keys or healthy behaviors that encourage optimal aging throughout your life and challenges participants to focus and improve upon these behaviors.

You can learn more about each of the 12 keys by clicking on the following link:  Keys to Embracing Aging -- Aging 101

The program will be presented in a virtual setting via Zoom and will consist of 12 sessions, one key per session. Sessions will meet on Wednesdays (bi-weekly) from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. from February 3rd until July 7th.

The program is geared toward individuals who are 60 and older and there is no cost to participate.

Participants will receive incentives including the Blue Zones: 9 Lessons for Living Longer from the People Who've Lived the Longest book after participating in the class sessions.

Once registered, participants will receive a Zoom link and more information for how they can participate in the program.

This program is being provided in coordination with the East Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging and made possible through a grant with the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services.
