Dufferin-Caledon Drug Strategy Team - Anti-Stigma Focus Groups 

The Dufferin-Caledon Drug Strategy Team* will be hosting several virtual focus groups for residents of Caledon, Shelburne, Orangeville and Grand Valley this month in order to collect information for a future anti-stigma campaign. They will also be hosting a youth-focused group open to teens residing in Dufferin and Caledon. The team is looking for folks who have lived experience with addiction, or who are family members of those who have suffered from addiction. The groups will discuss the stigmas associated with substance use.

The dates of the focus groups are as follows:

  • February 18, 2021 6:30-8:00 p.m. – Orangeville Residents
  • February 23, 2021 6:30-8:00 p.m. – Shelburne Residents
  • February 24, 2021 6:30-8:00 p.m. – Youth Focus (all locations)
  • February 24, 2021 6:30-8:00 p.m. – Grand Valley Residents
  • February 25, 2021 6:30-8:00 p.m. – Caledon Residents

Honorariums will be provided to compensate for people’s time.
