We offer in-store Quick Sketch services for small areas of your property that need a little help from our professional landscape designer. Quick Sketch appointments must be scheduled online ahead of time. All Quick Sketch appointments take place in our store at The Family Tree Garden Center in Snellville.
Our Quick Sketch services have changed for 2020, so please see below for updated prices, benefits, and details.
WHAT HAPPENS AT A QUICK SKETCH? You will come into the store and meet with Tracy, our professional landscape designer. You will show her your pictures of the area and discuss what you would like to achieve. Tracy will sketch out a quick plan for you, which you can then use as a guide for your planting project.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? Quick Sketches are $50 for each 30-minute appointment.
WILL I GET A DISCOUNT? Yes! All Quick Sketch customers will now get 10% off all regularly priced landscape plants for 5 days after their appointment.
HOW BIG OF AN AREA CAN BE SKETCHED? A maximum area of 10 feet x 20 feet can be sketched out during your appointment. If you have larger areas to be designed, please consider scheduling an at-home design or consultation visit instead.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT? Bring 4-5 pictures of the area that you want to focus on (pics on your phone are fine), approximate measurements in feet (10' x 20' max), and how much sunlight the area gets each day.

CAN I BOOK MORE THAN ONE APPOINTMENT? There is a limit to one appointment per person per day (so that we can assist as many people as possible). If you have multiple or larger areas to be designed, please call 770-972-2470 to book an at-home design or consultation visit instead.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT? If you cancel your Quick Sketch MORE than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time, you will receive a refund, minus a small processing fee that PayPal charges us. You MUST email us here to cancel.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS MY APPOINTMENT? If you did not cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time or do not show up, you will NOT receive a refund of any kind.
WHAT IF I AM RUNNING LATE? We schedule our Quick Sketch appointments back-to-back, so we must start and end on time. If you are late, we will not be able to extend your appointment past the scheduled end time. Please call 770-972-2470 to let us know if you are going to be late.
CAN I RESCHEDULE A MISSED APPOINTMENT? We cannot reschedule cancelled or missed appointments, so you will need to re-book and re-pay for a new appointment.
