Hello folks,

Here at Little House on the Trailer we'd like to invite you to the Grand Opening of our first-ever factory-built unit! At 400 sq. ft., with a 200 sq. ft. loft and 100 sq. ft. veranda, we've dubbed this new unit the "Loft House".

With a new focus on affordability, this summer Little House on the Trailer switched from hand-built to factory-built. The Loft House is our first unit to ever be built via our factory! Here's how the new factory partnership works:

1. Consultation: The same as in the past. Clients visit our showroom and arrange a free consulation with owner and designer Stephen Marshall to discuss the possibilities and answer their questions.

2. Site Review: Also the same. Little House visits your property to review project feasibility. 

3. Blueprints: Again, the same. Close-one-on-one client ineraction is the backbone of our design process. Together we'll create your vision, from the floor plan down to the finishes.

4. Construction: Here's where the process differs. Instead of building the unit on-site in Petaluma, we send the finalized plans to our factory, where the house is built to your exact specifications. It then arrives in Petaluma, where our construction crew adds design and finish details not available in the factory, such as custom floors, wainscoting and paint colors.

5. Delivery: We ready the site for delivery and roll your new home onto your property. The house can stay on wheels or be installed on a permanent foundation.

For the past two weeks the Loft House has been under construction, and now it's finally ready! Join us for refreshments as you explore our newest Little House and discuss the latest in the small house world.
