54th Annual NSSA Awards Weekend 

Please join us for the 54th Annual NSSA Awards Weekend in Salisbury, NC, June 8-10, 2013.  The National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association will honor and celebrate the 2012 NSSA state and national sportscasters and sportswriters of the year, as well as our new Hall of Fame inductees, Dick Vitale (ESPN) and Mitch Albom (Detroit Free Press columnist and best-selling author).

SATURDAY, JUNE 8th:

Noon- 9pm -   Winners' Registration (Holiday Inn Salisbury)

4-6:30pm - Welcome Reception (Holiday Inn Salisbury)***

6:30-9pm - Welcome Dinner and Issues Forum (Holiday Inn Salisbury)***

SUNDAY, JUNE 9th:

11am-1pm - National Athletic Trainers' Association Awards Brunch & Seminars (Holiday Inn Salisbury)

 1:30-4:30pm - NSSA Sports Book Festival (Literary Bookpost, Downtown Salisbury), featuring Dick Vitale, Dan Shaughnessy, Wooddy Durham, Ted Geltner and more.  Also see Super Bowl Championship rings, provided by Jostens.

 

 

 

 

3-4pm - Trolley Tour of Historic Salisbury (Hosted by Karl Hales)

5:30-10pm - NSSA BBQ Dinner & Dance (Historic Salisbury Station Train Depot)***
