Hydronics, in its simplest form, uses fluid rather than air to transfer heat and cold. This seminar will present the three basic types of hydronic systems: Hot water, chilled water, and condensers. You will be introduced to various piping methods such as direct return, reverse return, and primary/secondary pumping used to achieve proper flow distribution in a system. Equipment such as pumps, expansion tanks, boilers, and heat exchangers will be discussed, along with the latest improvements in equipment efficiency such as ECM motors.
