From Conflict to Collaboration: Leveraging the Millennial Generation in the Workplace 


During this morning workshop, thought-provoking discussions will encourage you to think differently about the intergenerational workplace. Engage in interactive activities that identify the pros/cons of personality labels and individual learning styles and learn how to leverage the very best traits of the millennial generation.  Subject expert and coach, Tim Dean, will provide you with practical tips to improve communication across work teams and conclude with insights on management strategies that will help you to better attract and retain millennial workers.  

You will learn to:

  • Define and recognize the generational landscape and understand how millennial backgrounds, characteristics and motivations influence behavior
  • Correct inaccurate use of stereotypes that leads to misguided assumptions and potentially damaging decisions
  • Harness common ground to improve interactions and communication across all generations
  • Recognize millennial learning styles to promote collaboration and trust
  • Incorporate coaching techniques to enhance the employment experience and retention strategy for millennial members.

All ages and generational groups are encouraged to attend this highly interactive workshop!  Managers/supervisors are encouraged to attend with younger employees and vice versa.
