Intro to Lean Project Delivery 

This introduction to Lean Project Delivery webinar will introduce Lean as relative to the design and construction industry. Participants will learn why Lean matters for their projects and why they should care. They will be introduced to the key principles and wastes that are foundational to Lean.  Real project examples and results will be shared throughout the presentation. 

At the end of this class, participants will be able to:

• Define Lean and the principles associated with a Lean operating system.
• Identify the principles and tools relevant to Lean design and construction processes.
• Recognize various types of waste in design and construction and apply tools to reduce, minimize, and/or eliminate waste.
• Increase collaboration and communication on projects through application of structured planning systems and processes.

Instructor Felipe Engineer-Manriquez - 

International Lean speaker, a serial intrapreneur, Felipe Engineer-Manriquez is a committed Lean practitioner sharing decades of construction industry experience as the host of The EBFC Show Podcast (www.theebfcshow.com).  Engineer-Manriquez is an active contributing member of the Lean Construction Institute (US) and is an approved instructor/facilitator.  Engineer-Manriquez was honored with the Lean Construction Institute (US) Chairman’s Award during the 21st Annual LCI Congress for contributions to the Institute and the design and construction industry as a whole.  Felipe has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Business Administration, and leads the Lean Construction Program for McCarthy Building Companies, Inc.
