Part I Syllabus — What Is Cox® Technic? The Basis

  • The Part I course is introductory to Cox® Technic flexion distraction and decompression protocols. 
  • This continuing education weekend (12 CE hrs) shares the academic basis for the protocols as well as introduces its hands-on application.

*Registration NOTES:

  • CE CREDITS: CE is applied for via National University of Health Sciences for all US states except: AL (40 days), AR (70 day), CA, HI (55 days), KS, LA, MO, NM, OK (100 days), PA, TX (70 days), WV (40 days). If you are seeking CE for these states, we would have to file for CE at least the # of days above OR MORE in advance. There may be an extra fee associated with CE filing for these states.  

  • One (1) STATE CE is included with your registration. Additional states' CE are available at $25 each. 
  • The following states require $5 for DIRECT NOTIFICATION:  AB (Alberta), AL, DE, FL, KY, MS, NC, ND, NV, SD, TX, WV, PR (Puerto Rico).
  • Cox Technic Complete (CTC) Subscribers: Congratulations! We are pleased to offer the seminar discount! Your status as a subscriber will be verified upon confirmation of your registration. You must be a subscriber of the program when you register as well as when you attend to receive your 25% seminar discount. You must be a CTC subscriber when you register and when you take the class. The discount does not apply to the examination fee for Part II nor to additional states' CE filings. Those are flat fees. For more information on Cox Technic Complete, please visit the website.
  • Important: Every attempt is made to offer this program as publicized. However, F/D Enterprise, LLC, and/or the NUHS Postgraduate Division reserve the right to adjust program dates, locations, times, instructors, etc., to accommodate unexpected faculty or student needs and cancel due to insufficient enrollment. F/D Enterprise, LLC, and NUHS are not responsible for any expenses incurred by registrants due to program adjustments or cancellation.
  • Registration Cancellation/Transfer Policy: All registrations are non-refundable. If you cannot attend the selected and registered on-site seminar, you may transfer your paid credit towards a future on-site seminar within a year of the initial payment date. YOU CAN NOT TRANSFER CREDIT TOWARDS WEBINARS, ONLINE COURSES, OR HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS. There is a $50 registration transfer fee plus any difference (if applicable) in tuition for the future course. 
  • Part II Attendance & Certification: Starting January 2011 (If you took Part I prior to January 2011, you are exempt from this.), Part II must be taken within 2 years of your Part I attendance. 
  • Students Who Take Part II By Exemption from Part I: Students who take and pass successfully a course in school about flexion-distraction from an instructor actively certified in Cox® Technic are exempt from taking Part I if they take the Part II course within two years of graduation.
  • Definition of Student and Doctor DC for Registration: A student is one who has yet to graduate. A doctor is a graduate.
  • Videotaping and/or Audio Recording of any kind at a Cox® Seminar are prohibited.
