Don Owens, Principal - Griffin Owens Insurance Group

Don Owens has been a Nationwide Agent, affiliated with the Griffin Owens Insurance Group since 1981.  Don received his B.S. Degree from James Madison University, his M.B.A. from Averett University, and is a Certified Financial Planner. Griffin Owens Insurance Group has been the recipient of Nationwide’s highest honor, the Presidents Conference Award, for the past 27 years.  Don is a past President of both the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Herndon.  

 

Lloyd Knight, VP/Financial Services Division Manager  - Griffin Owens Insurance Group

Lloyd Knight is a native of Northern VA who studied Business Administration at Bridgewater College.  In 2006, he began his career as a Life and Health Insurance Specialist, providing retirees with Medicare, Social Security, and Long Term Care planning advice.  For the last four years, Mr. Knight has been a FINRA Series 6 and 63 licensed Financial Advisor, in addition to his role as a Life and Health Advisor.  Mr. Knight became the Vice President and Financial Services Division Manager for Griffin Owens Insurance Group in May of 2015.  Mr. Knight is married and the father of three boys.
