Venue:
The Renaissance Hotel located at 425 Water Street Portsmouth, VA, will be the location of this year's event.  A limited number of rooms are available at a discount conference rate of $91.00 (plus tax)* per night. There is a parking fee of $5.00 per day/night. Fee will be charged to the room of each guest with a vehicle. Make your hotel reservation by calling 888.839.1775 or at the link below. Participant Registration:
Pre-registration is required. Registration is open to members and non-members.  The two-day EARLY BIRD conference rate for members is $100.00. The non-member rate to attend the conference  is $120.00. Single day registration rates are $50.00 for members and $75.00 for non-members. Checks and money orders are to be mailed and made payable to VJJA.  Return checks will be assessed a $35 fee.  When paying by check, separate checks for registration and dues are encouraged. No refunds of registration fees will be made after October 24, 2016. **Attention DJJ Employees, special notice of instruction regarding registration: DJJ employees are responsible for following travel and training authorization guidelines. Pre-approval for conference attendance is required for reimbursement.  Employees are responsible for payment of registration and dues. DJJ will only reimburse registration fees. Membership dues are not reimbursable. Reimbursement guidelines are to be followed post-conference.** 

Networking:
In addition to formal learning opportunities, participants will be afforded multiple opportunities for relationship-building with other professionals working with system-involved children from across the state. VJJA President Samantha Higgins will host the annual President's Reception. A networking social will be held later in the evening. Multiple opportunites will be provided to network and build resources with Providers/Exhibitors who provide a multitude of services to at risk kids and families.
