Chase Center: Design and Construction (ASCE Dinner Meeting)

Please join ASCE Golden Gate Branch, ASCE Construction Institute, and ASCE Structural Engineering Institute for a presentation on the engineering and construction of the Chase Center.

Program Details:

Chase Center Arena in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco is the new home to the Golden State Warriors. Magnusson Klemencic Associates (MKA) provided structural engineering services, including on-site support during construction of the primary structure. Mortenson Construction was one of the contractors that led the effort to build the facilities.

Speakers:

Wyatt Henderson, SE: Wyatt is a Principal and a key member of MKA's Sports Specialist Group, with experience throughout the United States and internationally. He has worked on projects in a variety of configurations including arenas, stadiums, and sports related facilities for the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS and universities.

Kevin Dalager: Kevin Dalager of Mortenson is the project executive for the Chase Center. Kevin has been with Mortenson for 22 years and has provided leadership on many complex projects and has developed a niche in sports facilities. He is currently serving as the Director of Operations for Mortenson's Sports + Entertainment Group. Kevin has a B.S. in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University.
