Who's on the agenda? Our featured speakers include Brian Kelly (pictured at left), secretary of the California State Transportation Agency. He will talk about the governor's plan to put in place a long-term, sustainable source of funding for road maintenance and improvement. We'll also hear from Caltrans Chief Deputy Director Kome Ajise, the state's point person on goods-movement. The new federal surface transportation act, known as the FAST Act, includes new money to enhance freight corridors, and Ajisi will discuss what that means for California. Goods-movement is also prominently featured in several state transportation funding proposals that are circulating at the Capitol in Sacramento.
