The Trump administration and California air quality regulators are at war, and we're all caught in the middle. Meanwhile, the California Air Resources Control Board (CARB) has churned out an array of new in-use vehicle and equipment regulations, any one of which could confuse even the most experienced construction professional. What you don't know could cost you!
Don't worry, we have just what you need. Experts from CalAPA associate member firm Associates Environmental, Mike Buckantz (pictured at left) and Drew Delaney (pictured below), will deliver an informative and engaging presentation on current strategies for complying with these regulations. This will be a highly interactive experience, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own questions, insights and experiences to the discussion.
Also on the program: the peerless Steve Marvin, PE, President of Labelle-Marvin in Santa Ana, will be delivering his popular "Technical Tidbit" presentation, and Southern Paving Contractors Committee Chairman Steve Cota, Vice President of Patriot Risk and Insurance Services in Irvine, will provide his 2020 insurance and surety update.
CalAPA Contractor Dinners are the premier way for asphalt paving contractors to keep up-to-date on the latest news, information and trends impacting the industry in a relaxing setting. There will also be ample opportunities to catch up with friends and colleagues in the industry. All this takes place at the legendary Dal Rae restaurant, which originally opened in 1958 and is home to perhaps the best steak in Southern California. A Los Angeles Times restaurant critic recently noted the Dal Rae's iconic status in the city's food scene alongside the 100-year-old Hollywood institution Musso & Frank Grill -- "Continental institutions, and the power and privilege they symbolize" with menu offerings and service that offer "timeless pleasures."
