Villanova's Master of Arts degree in theatre is the only theatre M.A. program in the United States that places equal emphasis on scholarly and creative work.
Students undergo a rigorous course of study that is a combination of academic, aesthetic and practical approaches to theatre. Students matriculate into the program from a wide variety of undergraduate majors, spanning the humanities and the sciences.
Villanova now offers a Master of Arts in Theatre with a certificate in Nonprofit Management as well as funded summer internships with the Abbey Theatre in Ireland.
Competitive, merit-based assistantships & scholarships are available for full-time students. Current teachers & educators are eligible for reduced tuition rates. Students may choose full- or part-time study.
