About Our Presenter - Tea Hoffmann
Tea Hoffmann is the Managing Principal of Law Strategy Corp (LSC). Tea practiced law for 13 years, serving both in a law firm and as the General Counsel of a publicly traded company. In 2001, she opened her first legal consulting business, Legal Training Group. After five years, she joined one of her clients, an AmLaw 100 firm, as their first Chief Business Development Officer. During her tenure, the firm doubled in size, reorganized and streamlined its practice groups into higher functioning teams, created industry teams and established an internal business development coaching program. Tea provided coaching to more than seventy of the firm’s lawyers and all twenty-two of its practice group leaders. She also built her own book of business while at the firm, working with private equity and venture capital companies. She remained in that position for six years.
In 2011, Tea was named the Chief Strategy Officer at an AmLaw 200 firm in Charlotte, NC. While there, she revived the firm’s practice groups, provided coaching to more than twenty of the firm’s lawyers and created three industry teams.
Tea is a certified Life and Executive Coach through CTA. She is also a certified Franklin Covey Focus and Seven Habits facilitator. Tea is a Major in the Tennessee Army National Guard, a member of the Legal Marketing Association, National Speakers Association, American Continuing Legal Education Association and the American Bar Association (Law Practice Management Section.) Tea was inducted as a fellow in the College of Law Practice Management in October 2015.
