This two session interactive workshop will offer details and concrete actions helpers can take including:
• Prenatal preparation
• The first hour after birth
• Getting a good latch
• Making more milk
• Healing nipples
• Tongue tie
• Alternative feeding
• When to seek out the help of an IBCLC
Continuing Education Credits: BACE-NMC: 6 contact hours, 6 IBLCE CERPs (IBLCE credits are recognized by DONA, Lamaze, Bradley and ICEA). Meets criteria of the Comm. of MA Board of Nursing regulations: (244 CMR, section 5:00) for continuing education for nursing re-licensure for 6 contact hours.
