Presented by Terry Newman of Newman Management
Can a working mother or a daughter with aging parents or a sick family member, find work-life balance? While working and being a devoted parent/daughter/wife can be very challenging, especially in the current economic environment, there are some steps that can be taken to move toward finding balance. Men are more comfortable with the concept of “good enough” at work and at home. Women often need coaching around what to “let go of.” Many women hold back on delegation and need to get things absolutely right 100% of the time.
This workshop will focus on changing this mindset and opening up to the idea of “letting go” and shifting your priorities. The My Life Mind Map is an exercise that can be done in the workshop to help women get their priorities established by identifying the “deal breakers” as well as areas that can be streamlined, delegated, or put on a back burner.
