44th Annual Swim Around Key West (12.5 Miles)

Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Annual Swim Around Key West, a 12.5-mile endurance swim clockwise around the entire island of Key West. This is the 44th swimming of our event, started by founder Anna Fugina in 1977. That first swim took 12 hours, 59 minutes; today's record is 3:31:28 set by Gabe Lindsey in 1999. The Annual Swim Around Key West is an independent and insured swim, recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard.

We have three categories:
Solo Swimmer (12.5 miles): $180 through March 1, 2020
Two-Person Relay (6 miles each, consecutively): $330 through March 1, 2020
Three-Person Relay (4 miles each, consecutively): $450 through March 1, 2020

Prices increase on March 1 and again on April 1. The deadline for applying is May 8, 2020.

Each Category will be capped at the following numbers:
Solo Swimmer: 120
Two-Person Relay: 15 teams
Three-Person Relay: 25 teams

Pre-race registration will take place on Friday, June 5, from 3:00 - 5:45 p.m. at Smathers Beach. Please plan to attend a mandatory pre-race meeting in the tent at 6 p.m. following registration.
