46th Annual Swim Around Key West (12.5 Miles)

Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Annual Swim Around Key West, a 12.5-mile endurance swim clockwise around the entire island of Key West. This is the 46th swimming of our event, started by founder Anna Fugina in 1977. That first swim took 12 hours, 59 minutes; today's record is 3:31:28 set by Gabe Lindsey in 1999. The Annual Swim Around Key West is an independent and insured swim, recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard.

We have three categories:
Solo Swimmer (12.5 miles): $180
Two-Person Relay (6 miles each, consecutively): $330
Three-Person Relay (4 miles each, consecutively): $450

The deadline for applying is June 1, 2022.

Each Category will be capped at the following numbers:
Solo Swimmer: 70
Two-Person Relay: 10 teams
Three-Person Relay: 10 teams

Pre-race registration and pre-race meeting on Friday, July 1, 2022, location TBD.
