Interested in building apps for smartphones and tablets? Want to impress family and friends, have fun and meet new friends? Then this is a summer camp for you!

We'll introduce you to the fast growing field of mobile app design. You'll learn how to build 6 unique mobile applications for Android devices, in just one week! 

Summer IT Academy Just For Girls!

Our summer camp is an all-girl environment, providing a comfortable place for girls to take risks and build self confidence in computer technology. The camp is designed for girls entering grades 6-8.

    

In addition to teaching girls how to build mobile applications, each daily session will feature fun, engaging activities geared toward increasing girls' self esteem and leadership skills. Plus, we'll show students how this exciting new field can lead to a very fulfilling future career.

 

It's our mission to inspire and empower girls to seek an education and career in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM).

Introductory Course

This is an introductory course for students without a programming background. The course introduces students to the concepts behind computer programming. Students create Android applications using a visual "blocks" language with a drag and drop interface. Programming skills are not necessary.

Weekly Sessions

Sessions are weekly, meeting Monday - Friday,  8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
