Event Scholarship
At Saint Matthew, we don't want a lack of funds to keep students from participating in our Teen Ministry. If you are in need of a partial scholarship, please complete an application at www.saintmatthew.org. All information submitted is confidential. We will make every effort to help you.We are headed to Jenness Park Camp this February for SnowBlast 2018! Open to both IGNITE & FORGE, join us for an amazing time in snow country!
When and Where
Departure is at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23. Return is around 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25. Vans for the trip depart and return to Saint Matthew.
Sign up early and save! A $170 non-refundable early bird registration fee is due by Sunday, December 31. After that, the standard non-refundable registration fee is $220.
Last day to register is January 24. The registration fee covers two nights lodging, retreat costs, and most meals. Dinner on the way up is not included. $25 should cover spending money and dinner. Partial scholarships are available for youth that are unable to afford the registration fee. Please contact Mike Basil at (925) 932-1955 X122 for more information.
What to Pack
Pack 1 bag only, sleeping bag, twin sheet, pillow, towel, warm clothes, a Bible, notebook and pen, gloves, personal hygiene items (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant), winter shoes and clothing and $25 spending money for meals on the road. Please leave all electronics at home.
Speaker & Worship Band
Our speaker is Will Snipes who has served throughout the United States as well as Wales, Mexico, Bolivia, Ecuador and Canada. On the weekends, he frequently travels to different churches throughout the country to speak at youth retreats and conferences.
Our worship band will be Sanctus Real! They have a 20-year history of creating music that has garnered eight #1 singles, sixteen 'top 10' radio singles, two Grammy Award nominations, 1 million + singles sold and a cumulative 750,000 albums sold.
Teen Medical & Registration Form
You must submit a completed annual registration form before you can participate in any Saint Matthew Teen Ministry events. The form covers you for our weekly programs and events from Sept 2017 - August 2018.
There is a $25 per student registration fee.
