Story in Process: Trauma-Informed Storytelling Workshop

"We are all stories in process." TTN is partnering with Bespoken Live to bring this free event to a small group who want to explore their experiences with gun-based violence.  "When we craft our difficult experiences into stories, we can begin to heal the wounds that hold us back."  Join us for this healing event!  Story Journals and light refreshments provided.

At Bespoken Live, they believe we are all stories in process. Because stories connect us to ourselves and to one another, Story in Process is facilitating a series of trauma-informed storytelling workshops in Cincinnati. The intention is that the healing process can begin through crafting, telling, and witnessing our stories.

Our intention with the Story in Process Workshop is to create a space where trauma survivors can find hope in community and learn new tools for a lifetime of self-care. Studies show that when we can craft our expereinces into stories, we can begin to find meaning in our trauma.  This narrative process can start to reduce the stress and heal the wounds that hold us back.

This offering is appropriate for anyone who has been impacted by gun violence: survivors of gun violence, witnesses to gun violence, those feeling the impact of gun violence in their family, their community or even in a distant community.  Many have felt the impact of gun violence in direct and indirect ways.

This event is made possible by the Johnson Foundation, Bespoken Live, and TTN.

Registration is limited to 30 and will close on November 30th.  Since this is a FREE event and limited numbers are allowed, please do not register unless you are sure you can attend.  Thank you.
