2020 Synod Assembly - Early Bird Registration 

Congregations are encouraged to take advantage of the Early Bird Discount towards their 2020 Synod Assembly congregational registration fee. Invoices for Congregations were mailed from the synod office at the end of January. The Early Bird payments deadlin has been extended to Friday, March 6. Payment may be made by check or by credit card. 

The Early Bird congregational registration fee is $500 and includes the registration of 1 rostered minister and 2 lay voting members. The number of voting members assigned to your congregation is indicated on your congregational invoice. All rostered leaders called to (or contracted with) your congregation are voting members. Lay voting members are assigned based on the baptized membership figures reported on your 2018 Congregational Report.

Registration fees are as follows: 

Congregational Fee: $575 (Early Bird rate: $500) 
Covers registration for 1 Clergy/2 Lay Voting Members
Additional Voting Member (Rostered or Lay): $195
Visitor with Meals (includes retired Rostered Leader): $95 
Visitor without Meals (includes retired Rostered Leader): $30 
Addional Youth or Young Adult Voting Member: No Charge 

After February 29, the congregational registration fee will increase to $575. The cost for any additional voting members or visitors will remain the same, so whether or not you know if you will be able to send additional members, make sure to make your $500 payment to receive the Early Bird discount!

Payment of this invoice does not register any individuals from your congregation! You will have the opportunity to register your voting members and visitors through the online registration process beginning on March 1, 2020. 

Congregtional or individual registration fees do not cover lodging at the assembly. Housing will be available at area hotels or at the California Lutheran University dorms. Please watch out for housing information on the synod website and in synod emailed communications.
