Institute 1: A Subject Expert’s Guide: Sexual Harassment Employer Requirements
For decades, Rape Crisis Centers have been leading conversations and education on sexual violence and sexual harassment prevention. This workshop will equip centers with additional tools to address internal sexual harassment needs in the wake of California legislation SB 1343, and will prepare centers to uniquely position themselves as a valuable resource to their community.
Institute 2: New Directions, New Tools: Introducing CALCASA'S Advocates Manual and Training Facilitation Guide
Rape Crisis Center Programs, Cal OES, and CALCASA came together to establish new training certification standards for community based sexual assault programs in 2017. To accommodate the changes, CALCASA has developed two new tools to assist centers in training outcomes and compliance requirements the Training Facilitation Guide, and Counselor Advocates Manual. Each of these tools is developed for their respective audiences, while aligning with the state standards.
